About Mad Hatter 1865
The Mad Hatter 1865 society is a historic Philadelphia private social club. It traces its roots back to its founding in 1865 when its members would hold regular tea party meetings.
During the days of its founding, the Mad Hatter 1865 society was a men's members only private club. Today, however, that is no longer the case as both men and women are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the Mad Hatter 1865 society. With several members of elected leadership being female, Mad Hatter 1865 is proud to be a progressive leader for the Philadelphia area.
Mad Hatter 1865 society still focuses on its social component like back when it was founded, giving back to the community through community service and giving projects is also a key component of Mad Hatter 1865 membership.
